How to play Word Thread
Choose the word that connects both clue cards. In a middle-word puzzle, put your tile after the left clue and before the right clue to make two familiar words or expressions. In a shared-link puzzle, both clues describe the same answer.
There is no timer and no limit on retries. Wrong tiles stay marked so you can rethink the link. A little hint offers a nudge; the explanation shows why the answer fits.
A little thread every day
Journey has 16 threads with three links each. From 13 September 2026, new daily threads rotate through all 48 links, with no repeat across nine consecutive days. Earlier started threads keep their original puzzles. Daily results stay separate from the journey.
